Strata Law was founded as a focused commercial disputes practice, bringing together deep experience in corporate, banking, contract, insolvency, construction and regulatory litigation with modern, process‑driven execution.

The boutique is structured as a lean counsel‑led practice, ensuring swift, practical advice aligned with client objectives.

Founding Partner

Mr. Yajur Mittal

Yajur Mittal is a dual-qualified lawyer, admitted to practice as an Advocate in India and as a Solicitor in England and Wales.

For over a decade, Yajur has effectively managed and delivered strategic solutions for some of the most complex disputes across various Indian judicial forums, including High Courts across India, the Supreme Court, and quasi-judicial bodies such as the National Company Law Tribunal and the Debt Recovery Tribunal. He has also extensively advised clients in domestic and international arbitrations conducted under the LCIA, ICC, SIAC and QICCA Rules.

Yajur began his career at the prestigious Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., dedicating nearly six formative years of his practice to managing high-profile and complex commercial disputes. Outside of India, Yajur has worked in the disputes and arbitration verticals of premium international law firms in London and Doha enriching the firm with a unique international perspective and understanding of the international legal frameworks.

Yajur holds an LL.M. in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from the School of International Arbitration, Queen Mary University of London, where he graduated amongst the top of his class.
